From the day we started planning our small business, to the launch of greengrub Wooden Toys in 2014, keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible, reducing plastic use and generally working to improve the environment was a key driver for Us.
We made a commitment through our Sustainability Pledge to firstly; reduce raw material consumption, secondly; reuse as much material as possible and thirdly; recycle what couldn't be reused. This focus has driven Us to evaluate every part of our business, product range and supply chain looking for improvements which has led to today's announcement.....
Today greengrub Wooden Toys proudly joins the Not Business as Usual Alliance, a group of over 2,300 Australian and global companies, including Atlassian, Ozharvest, Oxfam, Keep Cup and more - pledging to support this year’s Global Climate Strike on September 20, 2019. Participating business owners are passionate about raising awareness and supporting action on the climate emergency by downing tools and giving their Teams the afternoon off to join millions of people around the world walking out of their workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers to demand significantly more action on climate change.
